Well, Dell XPS units are a developer dream machine. Being Intel based it's almost guaranteed to work flawlessly with Linux. Too bad that Apple moved to M1, that machine could be also a Hackintosh target. Or maybe someone already will try that.

I have the Dell XPS 17 with the 4K screen, 2060 etc and it's lovely to use. My daughter has an older gen XPS 13 with a 1080 screen and that's probably the better res with a 13" screen. Dell don't get everything right with the XPS range as they've emailed me to say there's a problem with the mobos fitted to some/all of the earlier XPS 17's and they are offering to replace the mobos. The issue doesn't and won't ever affect my XPS 17 so I'm not taking up their offer.
