About time. Dell have fantastic quality with their monitors, I hope they bring out a 4K G-Sync monitor with IPS 😀

Most likely a good quality monitor, and even with G-sync, very attractive, however 24 inch is a bit too small for 1440p i would say... I have 27inch 1440p myself, and its kinda bordering on my preference in terms of resolution/ size. Id say ideal for 1440p would be 32-34inch screen area. Just my personal preference, as everything especially text in most app's doesn't scale well and on 24inch it would be tiny.

I'd say that largely depends on which OS you use. I have 24" UHD monitor (UP2414Q) and I've been eyeballing UP2715K for a while as well, which has even higher PPI. With all the software I regularly use there are zero issues on Win10. On Win7 I had some scaling issues with old software, but I managed to sort that with manifest files. (PM me for details) Otherwise I used Dell Display Manager with 125%-150% ppi setting and it worked just fine. No need for that under Win10. All in all - the picture clarity is beautiful. People really don't have much to be afraid of with high PPI monitors today, it used to be a lot worse in XP times.

I use Windows 10, and yes it doesn't have issues with most of software, however gaming wise, thats where some issues can occur, especially on older titles/ software.

Not too small but the TN panel is killing it. 1080p looks bad on 23" screen, this is rather decent improvement.

You know when my other monitor is 35" 100hz g-sync granted cost a tad more is IPS. This one is TN. And I have one that is 144 TN and you can REALLY tell the difference over TN VS IPS. And 100 vs 144..na.. no OMG WOW. 60 vs 144 duh. What you really need to search on is G-SYNC. For me way to many times its better off.

My Asus VG236HE died on me two days ago after 4 yrs service 🙁 Served it's purpose well but honestly thought it would've lasted just a bit longer. Ordered a Dell UltraSharp U2414H to replace it as I don't think I'm gonna be buying another gaming monitor for a while, we'll see how long the Dell holds up for.My last Dell was the M991, lasted 10 yrs.The lil 17'' ones we use at our office have been here for 5+ yrs and going strong so we'll see. 😀
