Two are not good enough give three and wen can talk.. Other disadvantage to 3 monitors would be probably the sound, probably is possible only 1 sound source on 1 monitor / or input not two or three..

for most i guess that display enough, if you think u need 3, why not just buy single display to extend ? the only different is the bezel between the display there are pros and cons with either you choose anyway

Dual 1440p monitor + single > not 3x single, but Triple would be better.. and big difference and reason to bother with replacing.

Could be a nice upgrade from 34", adds some extra width. On the other hand it's a rather expensive solution compared to multiple monitors.
