With some of the crazy prices these days I'm expecting to see something like $2000 for this. To be honest I think tablets are overrated. My little Eee PC was only $300 and is most likely more useful to me than a tablet could be. Sure, I like technology, and while this thing is an interesting idea, the prices of some of these tablets and that new Xi3 Piston gaming thing is downright silly.

Does it come with a carrying handle like the old 19" XPS?

So...we're taking off the legs of the all-in-one pc/monitors with a touchscreen, adding "attachment legs", giving it a battery, and calling it a tablet now are we?

The eee pc that ceased to work whenever something was written to the hard drive? Got to be the slowest ssd i've ever experienced, i'm amazed they could even sell it, it was barely functional. I assume the hard drive versions were better though.

The HDD in mine works fine for Linux. I use the Eee PC to browse the internet or listen to music when I travel or lay in bed. I also use it to configure the routers and switches I have at home in my mini-lab. I also make use of the card reader when I need to take pictures from my camera. It's fast enough for those tasks. For everything else I have my gaming PC.

18"? That's not a tablet...that's a table.

Ugh...i dread the day when i have to fix these for any of the customers >_<. I can bet you that dell will screw the ball somewhere with this system.

You fix tablets? Isn't everything integrated forcing the person to buy another?

Products like these are enough to show that only Apple and Samsung will have success in the market.

I fix Dell systems. If there is a way to disassemble any dell system that has replaceable components then i will eventually get to work on it. :3eyes:

An 18" tablet is as stupidly huge as an 8" phone.
