For 30 bucks i like it, the dessign is a bit different and it looks nice in general. Performance could improve but it is ok for a ryzen 5 or an i5

would have love to see a hyper 212 evo or a freezer 34 thrown in there to be able to compare with them ...it seems capable of sticking closed to em so overall a very decent performer , And it can keep a 5800x cooled borderline ... with some undervolting will be more than fine . But dear lord nobody should buy this expecting to OC max tweak a 5800x :P

no baseline graphic on intel with other air coolers just AIO ? AMD got those charts i mean it looks like cant handle max temps on i9 but i would like to seen it idle/max temps vs other air coolers on intel side none the less

it makes sense it can not do i9 pl2 no single tower cooler can do 240~250 watts ! 100 should be more than good enough and 125~150 on the limits

never said it didnt make sense i was just question why the base line for AMD had other air coolers 10 other cooler to campare too but base line for intel had no air cooler lmited to 4 coolers? reguarless if it can or can not handle i would like to see it against other air cooler for intel, so can atlest get sense of what it can an cant do

My best guess is that they never tested the 12900 with other air-coolers in the past

Hi there. I'm the author of the review. I didn't test any other air coolers with the i9 12900K yet, that's the reason of such charts - you can see many of them (air coolers) in the previous reviews when i7 8700K/i9 9900K have been used. That should change over time.

As above. This should change soon. I didn't retest other air coolers, mainly because I didn't have s.1700 brackets for them. reguarless if it can or can not handle i would like to see it against other air cooler for intel, so can atlest get sense of what it can an cant do

Corrected : As above. This should change soon. I didn't retest other air coolers, mainly because I didn't have s.1700 brackets for them.

I managed to explode the integrated screw on the AM4 metal bracket(s) on the AK620, here's hoping this square one has better quality/soldering.
