I personally hope there will be a single player campaign. The short video Hilbert posted revealed what I would consider a must buy game. 🙂

It is indeed an MMO; "Dark and Light is meant to be a fantasy sandbox survival MMORPG". 🙂 I can't say much about the game itself, this is the first time I've heard about it. But from the video, and a couple of others I saw afterwards, it seems like western fantasy version of Black Desert Online(?). That isn't a critique though, but I'm not gonna say anything positive/negative till its officially out.
