I'm still waiting for it to be patched before I buy it and play it for the first time 😀

See the thing is, the clever people wait for a game to come out, mature, get patched and drop massively in price.

That's exactly what I did, after patch 2.0 dropped together with the Christmas discount on Steam. 😀

Despite all the hater video and review (most of the time not justified)... It is still on top sale even on console. At the end it is like Witcher 3, bad launch but become a legendary game. For those who have played paper version, this game is a nice one (even more with the new cyberdeck).

People definitely still play this. It's a good game. I'm about to do another run, haven't played the DLC yet.

Have you ever played it? Please don't take it the wrong way but your comment sounds like you finished the game on day one.

This! People need to get over what happened at launch, it's ancient history. The 2.0 patch really changed the game for the better and made it really really good. Those who are "waiting for it to be patched" shouldn't need to wait any longer and instead try the 2.0 patch.

The DLC takes the game up several notches. I bought the game at Patch 2.0 with the DLC, I've finished the main game but kept away from the DLC missions until now. The DLC missions feel better thought out, less random, less padding.

played it many hours, it was just a curious question, i thought it was more of a benchmarker.

Yea, it's amazing how this game will play on a potato PC now but when it first came out hi-in systems struggled to get 60fps... Hats off to their dedication.

No, those people also wait for it to be completely fixed and patched up first 😛

This new patch is a good move to sell more copies of the game, especially to the intel fan boys. Hoorah. 😛

Nothing clever about what I did, but man have I had fun in this game since day one 🙂

If I remember correctly AMD CPU users got a performance improvement patch too some time ago 🙂 So now everyone is hopefully happy.

My preliminary testing was night and day. On an Intel 12900HK mobile CPU (6P+8E=20 threads because the P-Cores are hyperthreaded) with a 3080TI mobile GPU the AUTO mode was baby smooth -- the best Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay I've seen on my test laptop. Whereas the "Prioritize P-Cores" stuttered right from the first scenes...bleh. I look forward to hearing other results.

For AMD 7900X3D/7950X if the default Microsoft way fail https://hwbusters.com/cpu/amd-ryzen-9-7950x3d-core-parking-problem-solution/3/ we can use Process Lasso CPU Affinity and set/limit all background process to the non 3D cache cores, leaving the 3D cache cores for the application that may benefit from it. The same for Intel by E-Cores/P-Cores and also How To Keep Processes Off E-Cores https://bitsum.com/docs/how-to-keep-processes-off-e-cores/ [youtube=VS3AmWLYd7o]

You are right AMD CPU had this patch in 2.0 and work fine on +8 core (below that smt is better).
