I just wish this Curved monitor thing would stop! I'm not a zombie I don't sit in the one sitting position when I game. Plus I can't get my head around the way the screens sort of arch in the centre due the curve. But the monitor looks promising if I ever get past the curve thing

Curved is definitely a gimmick when on 16:9 screens. But on ultra-wides it can be useful as long as the arc is not too acute.

Hdr400. If monitor isn't at least hdr600, it isn't nice to the eye. Hdr500 and under should stop being vesa certified. Hdr500 is the minimum for proper hdr, because sdr peak brightness is usually 250/300 nits. You need at least twice of sdr to feel hdr. That's why perfect hdr starts from 1000 nits which is four times average sdr.
