RAM speed is even less important if using one of the gaming AMD CPUs with the 3DCache, so the 5800X3D & 7800X3D - gamers may as well just get one of the less expensive slower kits, so something like the kit in this review makes sense for that purpose.

Using a zen4 cpu without v-cache you can get quite a jump in performance by using a faster memory with tweaked timings.

Yep, I'm specifically talking about the AMD CPUs that have 3D V-cache - so the 5800X3D & 7800X3D (and 7900X3D, 7950X3D). So gamers could save money on RAM by getting one of the better value slower kits like the one in this review, if they have a CPU with 3D V-cache.

I agree. When I upgraded to a 7600X, I specifically looked for a DDR 5 6000 cl30 kit. No mean feat in Serbia.
