Sounded interesting, my folks are after a decent soundbar, but I think that price of "under $1,000" (I saw the price mentioned on another site) is setting the bar a bit too high for us personally.

Unless your folks are audiophiles, I would stick to the 200 and under options. Plenty of decent sound bars in that category. Heck, I love a good audio experience for music, but when it comes to sound bar setups for a TV, I've never spent more than 200 and they've been adequate for my needs.
