An optical mouse in 2016???

Aren't they mostly all optical these days though (=laser) although there's some different implementations usually named either laser or optical but far as I've understood it both are laser pointers. Different sensors and extras (Amount of buttons, bios/firmware for setting up custom macros and lighting.) vary a bit though as does the overall build quality and support software though it seems the weight things have started to disappear a bit. 😀 EDIT: Probably not the best but. -> http://www.pcgamer.com/gaming-mouse-myths-busted/ (And they were all optical but laser mice use a laser pointer with some differences, article explains it better than I ever could. :P )
