Looks like it could be a very nice idea to me. All products durability are unknown but some of the ideas and features they engineered into this unit look good to me and steps forward in better power supply design, I for one cant see as a bad thing.:) Hopefully other vendors go in the same direction

its supposed to be more efficient, but only bronze rating? i rather buy analog in gold or platinum., even "no name" brands use good quality makers behind their psu's, and its not rocket science. with given specs on performance, you will not find radically different designs. never had a bronze last more than 3-4y. my gold corsair did 5y and only died because my old UPS didnt have a pure sine wave output...

Actually, Corsair has pretty cool software added to their AXi line. It provides you with temperature, fan speed, per-line load, and efficiency monitoring. It may be useful when you put the system to its limits.

Then on that logic you don't like the new corsair PSU line as well with Corsair Link Software.
