One would think with PRO in the name that you could have some sort of customization just like the other AIO coolers out there where you could use your own coolant and whole custom water cooled system built around it. But maybe that technology is trademarked but what do I know. My H110 is still going strong cooling my 4790k no issues what so ever.

@ neo cyrus Its based on asetek design like many other aio, and have a high failure rate. Some people have the pump die within month to about a year. I personally don't care that much as corsair covers all hardware that gets bricked if the aio failes. And i don't plan on keeping the h60i i have anyway, just a place holder till i get an ek/cm/arctic, and was even cheaper than air cooler with same temps (except it dumps the heat outside the case as i set it up as exhaust, so gpu temps are also lower). @HawaiianBrian I can see three possible reason why you would post that. No clue about aio that are based on asetek design. You dont have google to research the known issues with those. You work for asetek etc/getting paid to post that. Go to amazon and check the one (and two) star reviews for (asetek based) aio.. There are reasons why aios from EK/alphakool etc are a lot more expensive, and its not just the name..

Have H115i and it works great for my i7-4770k.

yeah, it seems once they work for 1-2y, chance of failure is getting lower, then goes up if older than 4-5y.. worst case remove and replace with aftermarket pump 😉

My H110 has been great but I fitted it with quieter Noctua fans, ditto the rear exhaust in my Corsair case. Never buy a new model of anything my granny said including new games with all their bugs & issues patched subsequently.

After looking at the prices of the 140mm Ml fans im curious as the whether i`d be better just upgrading the Noctua industrial fans i have on my H110i gt to the 140mm ML fans instead of buying a whole new unit, is the pump and block any better and is the coolant the same pos that was in my h110i gt when i bought it...had to change it out due to bad scale build up with only a months use....much better with the Mayhems clear coolant

@The Goose look at alphakool eisbaer or the EK stuff. those are "custom"/in house designs not prone to the pump failure asetek has

Now that Corsair got a key a former EKWB CEO, we might see in house stuff from them too in the future.

Corsair and quality, this two things doesn't go together, unless they start to use different pump etc then I don't see anything changing Only thing which I like from Corsair are ML fans although they're bit on expensive side Just hope so Corsair will stay away from DIY water cooling market EKWB is no longer best, my personal favourites are Barrow, Watercool.de, Monsoon and Aquacomputer plus few others Hope this helps Thanks, Jura

All a bit excessive for cooling just the cpu, used diy setup before on my cpu and 680 sli, but when i sold them and changed to 980ti`s i didnt feel the need to go that far with cooling.

@The Goose not really. the only way to get a rig inaudible, is with water. and i dont like to hear my pc when its running low loads. im even throttling the 9dBa noiseblocker fans i have @Solfaur the CEOs are not the ones behind the R&D/tech (from some exceptions)..

My Noctua industrial fans run about 560 rpm when my system is idle or im browsing the web and even watching a vid, also my Evga 1070FTW is extremely quiet even when gaming, my 6600k is running at 18c on coolest core and 21c on hottest, when im gaming my fans max to 1380rpm keeping my cpu below 55c @ 4.5ghz, but even at 1380 they're still pretty quiet.

that's what i mean, "pretty quiet" doesnt do it for me ;-) My first custom loop was only "custom", because i put rads/fans/pump in a tote and ran them 6ft away from the desk and can still get decent rpms on the fans (no noctua or blacknoise fans back then). Might actually go with the NB Bionic this time, as they do 6 dBa at full rpm, so i dont have to throttle them anymore.
