gonna have to stick this to my forehead, because there's no way this thing is gonna go on a graphics card anytime soon.

These have been released for at least a month now,i mounted one on a friends 6900 xt. I like the backplate but it comes with no thermalpads(for the backplate that is). I still prefer EK.

as I'm all Corsair almost I was interested in one but after reading the very few infos about the RTX model, seen that the manual was showing and telling almost nothing about mounting (I believe thermal pads are pre-placed on the block..no idea about the backplate) I went alphacoold and then EK and I don't think it's got the best specific gpu only cooling but overall and in terms of look there's really no contest EK wins biiig time I had an alphacool block and had (it's not a 1:1 comparison) better results but it's because the alphacool block makes contact with almost nothing except the gpu while EK makes contact with everything also...looks don't click on these unless you are ready to buy an EK block 😀

p.s. I saw in one of jayztwocents recent "your builds" video a case that had the alphacool mounted vertically and it looked good (case had perfect wiring hard tubing etc super pro job) don't be fooled it looks really bad and really cheap irl

These products are like those exclusive limited edition things in the number of hundreds in the world. It would be counterproductive to manufacture a lot of these waterblocks when pretty much most of these new GPUs are used for mining and they don't require fancy cooling.

I used to have a triple GTX 580 system that was completely water cooled but nowadays it's cheaper & simpler to get an AIO and a custom air cooled GPU. My ASUS Rog Strix 3080 OC is a 3 slot card with decent cooling so no need for water blocks.
