Nice review and interesting that you got Corsair Link to work. I still have issues with my version, it displays 0 degrees on some measurement modules on my H110i GT.

Not a single picture of how that thing is supposed to be mounted in a case.

Wow very nice results. I am impressed how this cooler can get within 2 degrees of an standard h110.

Corsair said it is working on new firmwares along with a new Link software update. I actually had no problems with the newest Link and my H80i GT either. Maybe the issue is related to if you have a CoolIt or Asetek based design? The new GT line is using both depending which one you buy. Seems like more people are having issues with the CoolIt ones. Coincidence? The CoolIt one also got the initial recall due to leaking coolant during shipping.

They tested outside a case which would have saved them time. Really the best reviews for coolers in my opinion are done in a closed case as this is how most people will use the product and allows for more accurate testing in terms of comparisons.

That's good news, I hope they hurry up. How do I know which design I have? I read about the initial recall but my unit was fine when I unpacked it (no leaks). I had a dialogue with a Corsair guy on another forum who said that unless the plastic bag wrapped around the unit showed signs of leakage, the unit was fine so maybe I got the Asetek one. Still weird why they would have two revisions.

I agree. Also, this thing is very fat, if you have a mb with tall heatsinks around the cpu, or the new mb's with ram on both sides, you might not be able to use this cooler. It's a great product if you have nothing in the way on your mb, otherwise you have to buy something else.

Yes, before I had my Corsair 780T I was very close as you say. But what is great about my new Corsar 780T and one I hope more cases do is the adjustable mounting holes so you can slide up or down and tighten screws in place.

Yea I bought a Corsair 780T a few weeks back, it's an awesome case isn't it:) Just waiting to buy the H110 gtx. Wish I could still do a custom loop, as this case would look awesome with it, shame I can't do it anymore.

To bad they don't have clear tubing like the DIY systems have. The black tubing makes it look like something was thrown together with cheap automotive tubing.

That's because these are closed loops. They still look better than a air cooler, and with a black and red theme I have, the black is nice. I had a custom full loop for a few years, but due to a medical condiiton I couldn't maintain it safely. I was draining it when I spilt the coolant everywhere (my hands spasm) luckily it didn't go on my components, but at that point I thought it was right to quit while I was ahead... Now I have a Noctua NH-D15 which is great, but it looks awful compared to my waterloop. As I said I'm going to get a Corsair AIO, as I think they make the best aio coolers, and they have great customer service which is a nice bonus. I wish they'd make one with a 360mm rad, as then I could use my Gentle Typhoon fans. They go for silly money now, as they don't make them anymore.
