Lookin good! Glad to see more modules on the way.
I'm still not sure if I will be jumping to x99 as I'd like to see some actual benchmarks (as I'm sure most here would as well) but great to see DDR4 coming up here.

any idea about the MSRP?

Cool if you're not using a NH-D15 ^^

Specification:-
- 2800MHz (PC4-23000)
- CAS Timings: 16-18-18-36
- Voltage: 1.20v
400 pound for a 4x4 16gb set. This is the faster one @2800. There's a 2666 set also.
Specification:-
- 2666MHz (PC4-21300)
- CAS Timings: 15-17-17-35
- Voltage: 1.20v
@320 pound
I'd wait for the versions later on in the line tbh.
I don't like 4x4 either. I'd rather just two sticks because 4 means more parts that can go wrong. Probably get 4000+ in about 6 months and prices will drop hopefully soon.

Well my 4x4GB ddr3 ram cost me less than 100 pounds 1 year and 8 months ago... And still going strong with cl9 at 2002Mhz

Hard to believe people are still buying 4gig as new. Then again, 32bit windows are still selling.

haha those prices..:eyes: Folks gl with that and new x99 system.
Although this Crucial balistx Elite looks nice too and better timings @ 2666mhz CL15-15-15

I'm more excited at the idea that we could one day have systems with 128GB of ram. It doesn't feel that long ago I was using a system with 128MB of ram.

im very unimpressed with ddr4 in its current state ill be waiting till it improves on both speed and price. i cant see why anyone would rush to buy ddr4 other then wanting the new intel cpu's.
laststop
why is the cas latency so terrible? Is ddr4 going to be slower than ddr3. Seems like for the same speed of ddr3 you get a lower cas meaning better performance right?
And I don't need to see any benchmarks it's a pretty easy choice to upgrade from x58
