And like with the rest of them, you get ~2 years or less before cable or a switch becomes useless and you have to shell out $$$ for new mice.

Less than 1/2 a year if they use the same low quality none Japanese OMRON switches as in the previous M65's

Razer uses OMRON, I don't see why CM wouldn't use something even cheaper. Final retail price stays the same anyway. I got fed up with all this bling mice, I had logis, CM and razer and they all last the same - up to 2 years. Now I buy chinese mice, like reddragon, a4tech and the like. They last longer and when they start dying, it;s ~$15 for a replacement. Yes, visually they look worse. Inside it;s the same sh. All those "super" sensors they come up with are all the same. I just got my Razer Basilisk to die on me and plugged in my still alive Logi MX 310, and guess what, I raised the sens a little bit higher and there is no difference, noticeable to me, in anything sensor related. Ok, yes, a lower res can be felt if you move the pointer reeeaaaal slow. But this mice is from era when they were built to last and didn't advertise dpi and billions of clicks (that mouse will never live to see)

Just a heads up if you're cheap or in a rush please don't buy an ( onn ) brand mouse. At night there is a large gap around the scroll wheel and it shines straight to my wall and you see this annoying red light. I so regret cheaping out and buying a cheap mouse at WALMART.
