Great review Hilbert! Thanks for posting it. As a result of it, I will definitely keep this cooler in mind when I do my next build.

Looks great. Frankly I am impressed that Corsair actually went for an air cooler, them being so well known for their AIO liquid coolers. AIOs are always nice, but a good solid air cooler like this is so much more reliable and consistent performing over time. So yeah, good for Corsair that they introduced this option. 🙂

Nice cooler. And "You won’t get RGB functionality..." makes it even nicer, as far as I'm concerned;).

Actually in market for an air cooler. Wonder if I should go with this or the Noctua D15. I am afraid it is too big though I will need to measure first, the pic makes it look the size of a mini-fridge or something.

Unless there is some huge breakthrough in air cooling technology, like when heat pipes first hit the scene, ill stay where I am.
hmm... i wonder how some of these more recent air coolers perform with something like this 120x38mm 2900rpm 120cfm PWM Delta on it. Yeah, i know the shroud would be problematic on this one, but other heatsinks in the category.

Good to see reliable air cooling without RGB from Corsair. Really gives impression of being aimed towards more mature users.
