Not bad for a more budget friendly CPU. I suppose if its priced right around a 3700x it should be a good seller. Im a bit turned off by Intel lately so I'm more interested to see what Zen3 looks like.

Where does my i7 - 9700K stands in the benchmarks? 🙁

This is not bad at all. This is 65W CPU and I believe it will cost $300. $399 is for 10700X and 10900X will be $499. 10900 non X will be $429.
It's amazing that you choose to put your foot in your mouth time and time again.

Define "good seller" when is on LGA 1200 socket requiring new motherboards, that won't be compatible with the 10nm CPUs, when ever they come out this or next year? At least AM4 still has 1 more gen of CPUs to go through this year.

Nice. If they can keep prices fair with the platform, be a nice competitor to Ryzen.

Intel already countering AMD mainstream before they go 7nm. I like this. Intel clearly has a strong hand. Very aggressive. I like it. Let them battle it out. I'll sit it out because I'm already getting good enough performance out of my cpu and I see no clear way to make things better value for money wise. Hey, if this beats the 3700x in "productivity" that everyone suddenly cares about and obviously beats the 3700x in games, at similar price, great. Bring it on, let us consumers have some tasty products at good prices.

They will, 10900k will be $499 and you can guess the rest.
Not really until we have solid prices. High end isn't what sells, usually it's mid range that sells the most.

Indeed. 3600 is the best selling not 3900. I hope intel have answer for that as well not only high end.

No, the idea that productivity doesn't matter is what you Intel fanboys came up with within last two years. Because having 10% higher frames in games at 720P with a $1200 2080Ti...thats what truly counts.

Guys I heard few of those will support Z390... Is this one of them? If yes, instant buy for me. Along with my 1660 Super already ordered and waiting. I'll give back my i5 9400F but c'est la vie.

So what truly counts is different for most of us. Buy what you want, and what is best for YOU 🙂 Why talk about "fanboys" all the time? What is wrong of wanting the best performance possible in either "Cinebench" or "games" ? I must be a Amd fanboy and Intel fanboy, because I have 3900x, 3800x, 1950x TR, 9900k and 7980xe ✌ Love from F@H Team Hardware.no 🙂

Nice off topic bro.

It will be compatible to the next year 10nm CPU and it is PCIe 4 ready.
Z490 chipset doesn't have PCIe 4.0 support mate while AMD moving to DDR5 & PCIe 5 next year. Do you think Intel will stay behind? No. It will release a new motherboard supporting DDR5 even if there is another Skylake at 14nm, making LGA1200 & 10000 series as short lived at the Z270 & 7000 series. Or you forgot that?

Like I was wrong about something before. 10900k will have $499 price tag.
Uh, yes. I can quote you all the times you have been wrong, which is every time. Any pre-orders have the 10900k at $650, though i am not saying that is MSRP, since intel hasnt announced it yet. But again, i can quote all your nonsensical predictions and "in-the-know" knowledge you have been having lately, such as AM4 not being capable to have 16 cores on it and it would never happen, intel core x pricing which was way off, your insistance on intels 14nm monolothic dies having "higher margin" on them then AMDs 7nm chiplets, etc. Just ask and i'll do it.

I bet you AMD will lower the price of Ryzen of 3900x to $429, being more appealing product. 3800x is already reaching low $329 and 3700x <$300. I hope Intel sells this even cheaper than what I said which is more likely to be, 95%. Let's see how 10900X with its agressive turbo performs against 3900x, I am sure they will trade punches with Intel edging 3900x in gaming by a bigger margin than 9900k.
Without actually seeing prices there isn't much to talk about really. Even at hypathetical prices I don't see how $399 for a 10700K is good when there is already a highly competitive CPU to that for no more than $329 from AMD. The 10900K is smoke where higher core counts are needed IMO. Current 9900K and 3700X are very competitive in multicore workloads. Not sure how the 10900K being down 2 cores and up a couple percent in clocks over previous Intel product will actually compete with 3900X. I have to see these thermals too because 8 core 9900K needs some fairly legitimate cooling. I agree AMD may very well slash prices more and likely could. The only reason they may need to is that there are a lot of people that haven't taken the time to realize Intel isn't needed any more for really great performance at all price levels. 10700K will pretty much be a new socket 9900K so $400 9900K all this time later isn't that great when it was overpriced from the start. Zen 3 also lurking around the corner I am not sure who can truely be excited for this new Intel line up. I guess we will just have to wait for prices. One thing is for sure Intel simply can't price compete with AMD and their value superior architecture.
