Why "worry"??? - you have shares at AMD??? There is nothing to worry about - in fact there is something to be glad - we will have two companies competing for real in consumer CPU market!
Nope. Don't own shares in either company. Only reason I have to worry is that I just built 2 new systems and it would really be a shame to replace one of them already. If the price/performance is good enough, I worry that I'll end up buying one.....lol

It looks like a bare minimum, which is not too bad for $200. The test was made holding a tower air cooler on it (no retention for lga1700). Performance wise yea, faster than 5600x and only half the consumption@4ghz all core (5600x goes to around 140W+) I'd say it looks great for a budget gaming with no significant cooling required. I kind of have my doubts on that 70W in AIDA fpu avx2. It might be possible though, it's only 6 cores probably running at low voltage to achieve only 4GHz. If true, it means you can passively cool it in gaming (40W +/-)
the 5600x in the aida stability test with fpu, only uses like 75watts (cpu package power), so its very comparable, no magic here.

I know this that is why I asked. 5600X is a 65Watt TDP with a PPT value is 88 W 5800X and above is TDP 105 PPT value is 142 W
I rechecked . My 5600X is doing 108W maxed in this Aida test. Thats 4650Mhz at 1.35v. Temps toped at 90C 🙂 🙂 🙂

That looks a bit strange. My friend's 5600x running 4.6 and 1.35v reports 110A from the cpu vrm line. That should translate into 148.5W 5 minutes into the test the temperature is only 75C with a noctua U12. How can you have 90C at 100W, what you cool it with , a potato? 😀
I have closed case (Fractal R5) , with fan curves set very low (i'm big fan of ultra silent pc) and cooled with Bequiet Shadowrock 3. I don't game on AIDA or CB, during gaming my max temp i noticed is 70C which is perfectly fine for this CPU 🙂 And why it showed 108W i don't know, i just did't it too see how high it goes 🙂
