Such an ugly case as most Cooler Master's are.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some Cooler Master cases are a bit heavy or clunky looking, but most are pretty nice. The Master Box series are sleek and modern, while the H500P looks like a military vehicle. That's the way Cooler Master wants it to look. I watched a couple of video reviews on this case, and I;m sold. I am going to buy this case. I live in Canada, so that means I'll have to wait a while longer than my American friends.

Not bad, but after i saw what thermaltake "allows" when it comes to changes/modding, thats where i stay i mean, i can change where the button/port combo goes... (core X1/X2/X5/X9)

I'm surprised - I thought it was going to be a bit more expensive than that. Still more money than I'm willing to pay for just a chassis (I think the most I ever spent on a chassis for myself was $60 including shipping), but still seems like a decent value.

Me too. While not being the prettiest case the H500P seems to offer excellent airflow and cable management. Heck, I might even use it without using a panel on it's right side.

It was mentioned in some of the cumputex coverage that the h500p would have a modular expansion of the 3.5 capability in the front. Do we know if that's true? Newegg lists it as natively supporting two 3.5 drives, but they do that for the p400 as well..

I pre ordered this case, and the specs show it does allow 3.5 drives, but they are not installed. The drives are becoming less important, and many case manufacturers simply don't include them.
