Seem's stupid to not cancel it at this point, no bugger can get there and those that could probably won't anyway because hardly any exhibitors would be willing to risk it.

Taiwan is barely affected, the problem is not really inside the country but outside of it. So the only hope to get it running would be to test people on airport arrival so the computex remains a safe place. There are countries out there that have good habit about disease (not only COVID-19 but disease in general), and where the virus doesn't spread like China, Europe or USA. We better learn from them how to protect the others by respecting the simple fact that if you're ill you wear a mask and maybe protecting glove or don't touch people or stay home.

You do realize that people can get infected ON THE PLANE quite easily, right ? And it will most likely not show up in tests done right at landing, which means freshly infected traveler will carry forward and start to spread the virus right throughout the event. There is no other choice than to cancel it (and every other event in the world) until we get a vaccine (which might be 1.5 years or more) --- As for Computex, I like their optimism... but no, it will not end by September, so the postponing is useless.

Yes, but you can't ENFORCE other country to check them before they leave, so the only choice is to test them on arrival. I still see plane in the sky, so people air traffic is still ongoing even in very low volume. As for computex, it won't be over until the vaccine is out. But numbers of case will dramatically drop before Q2 end, that's why they are postponing. If no surprise shake the world till there, September should be all fine as a new date on their calendar.
