Nice cooler.

Barely faster than 1070, slower than V56, less vram than both, no rt cores. Its not a good card, stay away from this turing gtx cards.

You are comparing to the wrong cards. Its a tier lower than those and meant to compete against the RX 590.

Nice card but like Hilbert said it should be a little cheaper. But what i really like about the card is that it has a Turbo button!!! Great review!

Nice review, good looking card. I like the addition of the "Replacing Thermal Paste" section near the end, but we are missing some important comparison points. It would help clarify whether or not the Noctua paste is better if we could see Fan % and RPM, possibly noise levels. Like for my 1080Ti, for 6-7 months of the year I ran it at 2000MHz core/1.050v while it would top out at 76C and ~2500RPM fanspeed. Now we are in summer, I have it at 1800MHz core/0.900v while it tops out at 76C and ~1200RPM fanspeed.

Well, I don't think this is a very good example of a third party card, it runs quite warm at 65 degC but more importantly it's one of the noisiest cards tested at Guru3d according to the acoustic charts - how it can run so loud whilst being at just OK temperatures during a miniscule peak power consumption of 119W whilst having a third party 3 fan cooler strapped onto it is really baffling - under the circumstances one of the worst third party cards I've ever seen tested.

1660 is there to compete with 590 but 1660ti is supposed to replace the 1070 and attack higher segment of amd and vega, it failed doing all that.

Man you really hate the 1660Ti don't ya. Maybe because it absolutely destroys a RX580 with less ram?

Yeah, turing gtx cards makes no sense. Used pascal or rtx are a better choise.

And curent turing rtx cards makes no sense also i am curious if they will keep this pricing on 7nm ampere.

Is that supposed to be funny? Cheapest 1660Ti costs 50% more than average RX-580 8G. Yet it's average performance gain is 30%. Considering that RX-580 is 1080p card, what would it look like if I used price tag of 4G version? Or cheapest to cheapest comparison?

He always starts the argument how his cards beats mine which makes no sense. He payed 280$ for the lowest msi version of the 1660ti. In used market gtx1080 can be had for that price.

The v56 is CHEAPER over here in the UK and that makes it perfectly acceptable to compare to a 1660ti, this whole range from nvidia has been a failure imho due to over pricing.

Depends on how much cheaper. And what cards is meant for. Because there is not small power draw difference too. I am sure some scenarios will be better on green and other on red.
