Hello, guys weird because after opening CTR, it's open in my task manager but no window is popping out. I'm pretty sure I have framework .net installed. Okay nvm got it working.

How did you get it working?

That happens to me too. It does not load me anything, could you solve it? It happens to me with 2.0 and 2.1, with versions 1.X it does not happen to me. I have a 3900XT and Asus X570E

Gona test soon with new BIOS (agesa 1.2.0.0 ). I'm counting my sample is golden or better 😀

I tried to have a quick run before I head off to work. When running diagnostic, it opens up CB20 and when it starts to render it closes down, CRT states "PPT limit reached! 200 something watt (-not always the same number-) OC Terminated!" I don't know why as otherwise when I run CB20 on my own it runs just fine. Also I think at some point it automatically started trying to tune and gave me a hard reboot with a WHEA error. I'll have another look when I get back home but something seems to be off. Ok just figured it out, saw that there were some settings not showing up at first for PPT/EDC/TDC that were limiting

@1usmus I gave CTR 2 a go, unfortunately (or luckily? who knows...) i'm one of those 5800x-with-2 CCDs owners and i'm getting these messages in the log window:

Should i hold on using it until AMD releases their updated chipset drivers? For reference, F33a BIOS is AGESA 1.2.0.0, the latest available for my board. (CPPC and so on are enabled in BIOS)

According to Igorslab.de, if the CTR doesn't start, you need to delete following directories: %LOCALAPPDATA%/A, %LOCALAPPDATA%/Nemesis_UIv2 However, I don't have those directories, and it still won't start...

yay, time to test the 5800X

Ugh, i might have this as well. I assume those 2 CCD ones are the 5900/5950 that failed the test on one of the CCDs?

Great that it's finally out! But I guess it will take some time before the major issues are ironed out, just like with the last version.

Apparently yes, which also causes Ryzen Master not to be able to see cores and (according to CTR 2) windows scheduler not be able to see preferred cores (although hwinfo does seem to see them and several games/application seem to use them correctly, at least in my experience). AMD said they would release updated chipset drivers (and Ryzen Master) at some point in February to fix the problem, to be paired with an AGESA 1.2.0.0 BIOS, but as far as i've seen BIOSes are still deeply in beta and no drivers are out yet. But then again, it's only the 3rd of February anyway. Moreover, Gigabyte has completely jumped 1.9.0.0 versions, going from several 1.1.0.0 revisions to a lonely 1.2.0.0 one which, as far as i've read, might have problems on its own, so I probably should just wait for an updated BIOS and chipset drivers before toying with CTR. Edit: i just saw another double-CCD guy posting a screenshot in which cores seem to be correctly recognized by the OS, which kinda points me to the conclusion that my current BIOS is an asshole.

I HIGHLY suggest for those who are asking question and want answer to actually READ the article as it plainly answers 90-100% of your questions IN DETAIL.

I solved CTR not starting by disabling Vanguard from Valorant.

ehm. i noticed that if i do enable loadline balancing (accourding to the new guide not needed anymore) to extreme my 3600xt goes from a bronze sample to a golden sample. just for info.

loadline calibration/balancing should be left on auto as per instructions in guide, otherwise the cpu could get too much voltage and that can damage your cpu.

Hello, So I read everything and I pressed the "DIAGNOSTIC" button. After 20 minutes the computer crashed. I ran CTR again and got these:
***ClockTuner for Ryzen 2.0 RC3 by 1usmus*** AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII DARK HERO BIOS ver. 3204 SMU ver. 56.45.00 TABLE ver. 3672324 DRAM speed 3000 MHz 02/03/2021 12:30:32 Phoenix - hello there 🙂 CTR completed diagnostic in alternative mode DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor Max temperature: 69.4° Energy efficient: 4.08 Your CPU is GOLDEN SAMPLE Recomended values for overclocking (P1 profile): Reference voltage: 1250 mV Reference frequency: 4650 MHz Recomended values for overclocking (P2 profile): Reference voltage: 1325 mV Reference frequency: 4725 MHz Recomended values for undervolting: Reference voltage: 1125 mV Reference frequency: 4400 MHz Phoenix deactivated!
What should I do now? It seems I can't press the FILL P1 Profile nor FILL P2 buttons. How do I apply the undercloking profile recommanded? (This is really unclear in the guide) Since it crashed, should I run the DIAGNOSTIC again? Thank you very much!

5600x on Asus B550-F with latest bios here. With recomended settings i get the same experience, and i get Vdroop warnings at test 2 and it does not go beyond step 11 for me. I tried LLC 3 and i got no warnings and i was able to complete the tests. Trying LLC 4 now just to see if there is any noticable difference. Something else that is weird is my Core 0. It's raiting 15 CPPC 140, but that one runs at 3500 mhz all the diagnostic, the other 5 cores is at 4375 mhz all the time.

Thanks! Will for sure be looking in to this as soon as the newest BIOS with Agesa 1.2 for my mobo comes out of beta.
