I tried dampening rings and it removed most of the feel of the keyboard. Does anyone know how well these do at retaining the mechanical feel?

Nice… Now to wait for them to be used in a keyboard with properly placed keys (like the TrulyErgonomic) at a decent price (unlike the TrulyErgonomic, especially when you don’t live in the USA).

I own an STRAFE RGB MX Silent so I can tell you that it really is silent, but to answer your question about the feel, it's hard to say. They're not clicky at all if that's what you're asking. The strokes have no tactile feedback whatsoever but it's clear to the touch that it's mechanical as opposed to membrane. Hope this helps.

MX Silent are basically MX Reds. Their noise reduction mechanism make them feel a little mushy but not much.

Reds are the definition of mush to begin with. No bump, no click they are linear and really light, i can't stand linear mech keyboards rather have a good dome keyboard any day of the wee. They are mush you can't tell when you actuate them at all unless to somehow memorise key travel distance without any bumps telling you how far to go, 0 feedback outside of bottoming out softlanding pads or O-rings just make it even mushier worst keyboard to type with imo.
