you're telling me that's not how the game looks by default ? well it's not exactly incredible other than the high-res ground textures that any modded game already has everything else is average

I prefer the original looks.

I can tell you what is average at best, and it aint the games graphics... I love people who haven't played the games, who come and throw shit based on some random nobheads video, where he destroyed visuals with shitty shaders...

Yeah, he basically destroyed the lighting with his shaders... basically all games look better without "ULTRA REALISTIC LIGHTING!!!11" shaders... Only thing that is better in this video, is the fact that there is rain (which you can get with just a single mod) and improved LOD's, which again is a single mod. But i gotta say that it always puzzled me why CDPR left out changing weather systems, when it's already built into the game - it's just not activated. Especially wierd with all the rain puddles, when there is no rain.

Graphics, Graphics, Graphics. Meanwhile, the gameplay is still a trashy buggy mess.

Trashy? Subjective - i find the gameplay fun and engaging. Buggy? It might have been for some in the start (it never was for me), but it aint anymore.

Yeah - the coherent work of a group of designers and artists working with a set artistic direction is going to deliver a superior result to any mishmash of textures and effects. There's so many of these people delivering "ultra effects" on stuff, and it's just hideously oversaturated, oversharpened, bloomed and messy looking.

For me it looks the same pretty much how it looks without mods 🙂 Quoted as I want to add to that. It's same with ReShade. People go against artist vision to make something that's not so alright. EDIT: On above post. Bugs weren't the problem for me other than had to do two quickloads as I got stuck but I saved very often so wasn't a big deal.

Feel free to go through the cyberpunk thread - i had a few visual glitches, but never any gameplay bugs. And the same is the case for a lot of people on pc. Console is another matter, but who even cares about consoles...

Didn't encounter any bugs so far either and only visual glitches I have seen was in form of shimmering on buildings when tweaking the games graphical settings. Some of my friends did encounter bugs, but they played it straight from launch.

I never said had none bugs even had to quickload twice so gamestoppers being stuck.. But nothing that really made any real problem to me. It had probably 2 patches in when I completed it.

Wasn't quoting you, so weren't referring to what you said 🙂

I don't have time for this, however, if you had more or less glitch-free experience, I can bet you have started the play that game quite sometime after the initial release.

OR have bough the game on GOG... there was a huge gap in stability at day 0 compared to Steam, as an exemple... I had really few bug (some but few), good fps, and so, while my tall son get it on Steam with glitch, small freeze, T pose... despite we have almost same config.

Well a nice find as in yeah the lad put in a lot of effort clearly. The rain looked real good. But TBH I think its time we swept this game under the carpet. Its the emperor's clothing on steroids.

Let me guess... you haven't actually played the game yourself...

Only t-pose a few times and 1 glitched quest that was fixed on first patch Otherwise it was a pleasant experience

Having a 3090 certainly helps the game.
