Sledgehammer was the same studio that made MW3 and Advanced Warfare...Which MW3 was okay, but Advanced Warfare was freaking terrible.
Don't have high hopes for this one, and I don't anyway because it's a new COD game.

It would be nice if they had game option in single player mode that you could fight WW2 with modern weapons (tanks too) against the axis WW2 weapons to see how modern weapons compare with those now ancient weapons.

Im not surprised as call of duty is really getting hit hard by battlefield. Ive been waiting for this game since call of duty 5 world at war. If they go with matchmaking its going to fail. They need to go back to full dedicated servers and not the strong armed servers we got with black ops 1.

I'm a sucker for historical combat. World War 2 is the greatest setting for a shooter game, in my opinion. The weapons had advanced much farther than World War 1 and the theatre in WW2 was much more vast. I think the skill and tactical gameplay is more satisfying in WW2 games than it is in modern/future warfare with all the dumbfire weaponry. I also like the diversity in locations/settings a WW2 game can offer, all with historical significance.
I just love a good ww2 shooter. Hope this is solid.

Well you'd be a fool if you didn't seen this coming. Call of Duty 1 up to 3 was fun even though COD 3 was only on Consoles and glitched as ****. I remember camping under a house in Eder Dam i think the map was just sniping people as they passed by haha, so many long nights playing that game. Cod 4 Modern Ware was fun MW2 was meh for me and everything after that i just didn't give a **** about because i didn't like playing with these foul mouth mother****ing kids.
What's interests me is when they release a new Battlefield game not this year, pretty sure i read they were taking a break from making a Battlefield game "EVERY" freaking year, will they counter attack with a new Battlefield 2142 game like 2143 or something similar? Maybe? If Titan Fall doesn't release Titan Fall 3 which will end up looking to much like the same game, Battlefield 1 stood out cause every other top selling game was fighting in space or looked futuristic. I wouldn't be surprise if they went the futuristic space shooter route.

Would like to see a part of the war that hasn't really been portrayed before in COD.... maybe like... on the Kakoda track.. and for it to have Fuzzy wuzzy angels.. that would be kinda cool.
