I like that they've tried to improve (my opinion i guess) the flow of combat in CoD but it's really just tiring now overall (again my opinion) since it just looks and feel like last years release and the year before. They also seem to be adding more and more Unreal Tournament gameplay to each iteration so I'd actually love to see EPIC come back and just show them all how it's done.

Also doesn't look anything special. COD Ghosts set the "bar visually" then it all stuck there.

They have absolutely ruined Call of Duty. It used to be a game I couldn't get enough of and, watching the game mechanic video, I'm just disgusted that the Advanced Warfare ice cream and jelly trampoline party is going to continue.

Give us back proper Call of Duty and players will return but this is going to be a wasteland a month after release just like the last two.

I wonder who actually buys these games anymore besides 10-16 year olds.. The maps in this video look awful.. the textures are nice, but map design looks complete crap.
Never mind all the rest of the gimmicks. I would love nothing more than a great new modern shooter that put emphasis on the gunplay and movement mechanics and MAPS.. but it seems that so long as these types of shooters are the standard, its not coming until UT4 hits.

Black OPS4 = Rocket launcher for create jump ala Quake, curved bullet shot, automatic headshot, giant mecha armor .
I understand that they try to make a fast paced FPS, thinking it will bring the fun of something like Team Fortress, but at this point they should better launch a new licence for it instead ..

I know i'm not the most qualified to judge this, but it doesn't look like a COD game anymore.
While i don't personally think that is a bad thing, it does seem a strange decision when people appeared to be happy with a copy and paste game every year.

Yup ... hopefully they will make the beta open to all in the last 2-3 days. Would make a nice demo.

The maps look so small...anyone get the feeling the developers only spend time at paintball zones and not real locations? I guess it would make sense, they play paint ball for a few hours and then discuss 'you know what would be cool?' between swigs of beer and then 4 months later it's on the shelves and ready to buy...again...

I don't see how though, especially when it looks heavily influenced by Titanfall which was released by EA.
There is a snobbery when it comes to the COD games that is annoying, not that i like them either as i gave up on them after MW2.

The same thing happens on here anytime there is COD involved it seems it's the game to hate.I buy it because for me it's simple entertainment.I usually get about a year of fun out of each release which is just fine by me.

Like when it moved to consoles 10 years ago when Call of Duty 2 was out? Still i don't think it looks that bad but then I'm not an avid CoD player, I mean I was at a time with MW/MW2/BLOPS but not anymore so this looks a bit refreshing as I've had quite enough of the Call of desert camofield over the years and looking for something else. I can see why fans would be a bit upset on how it's changed but then perhaps they already know it's going to start to stagnate it's sales unless they mix it up a bit.
