isn't that just the player-made fov tool?

No, this is also being troublesome. The FOV tool got taken down by Activision.

This is normal crack for pirated version of the game with extra feature which legitimate users need. Personally i wouldn't use this on legit copy of the game, i wouldn't like to risk get my steam account banned. Anyway, game is total ****, they promised new engine, this is the same engine they are using since forever, do not buy this game, if you bought go for refund, boycott this crappy series and do not buy any more call of duty games. Everything they say is a lie and not gonna happen. If you want risk possibility to get your steam account banned because of fixing ****ty game? That's your choice. Do not buy ****ty games, better go to humblebundle, now there are two awesome sales with extremely good games (ok, except fear 2 and 3 which are **** too) for low price.

CoD doesn't need Tunngle. All CoD online systems are still operating, even CoD 1.

seriously? people don't have 4GB of ram these-days? I even had to double check the calendar to make sure it wasn't still 2008. why even buy the game at all, it cost more to buy the game than to upgrade the ram. I completely fail to understand the logic. even one of my shottiest computers at home that I built years ago has 8GB of ram and it cost pennies. people who want to play games but cheap out on the machine shouldn't be playing games in the first place. Tho i suspect people who bought the game shouldn't be having this problem, it's mostly the kids who pirated the game from torrents and cry that their mommy's computer is too crappy to run it.

Some people still run on a 32-bit OS. Even brand new operating systems like Windows 8.1 have a 32-bit release. According to steams statistics, only 46.01% of gamers actually have 6gb of RAM and up. Everyone else has less. And not surprising, maybe we hardware enthusiasts are used to a lot of RAM by now, but it isn't that long ago since 4gb was the new standard.

Is that 6 GB gross RAM or net system RAM? Regardless, the game looks like it could run on 512MB.

True! I had 4GB in 2010. Thing people forget PC gamers are a small percent of the total pool...

It doesn't matter whever it's a small percentage or not. The fact is 6gb of system ram is NOT required, the game only uses 1-2gb at the most. Despite this the game will not even start for those with less than 6gb, and those who bypass it risk being banned. So people need to upgrade their memory for one game that doesn't actually require it? It's absolutely ridiculous.

It's too bad the game looks like poop, especially in multiplayer. The textures look like bad company 2.

Hmmm...Fact is running it on my system I'm hitting over 5GB system memory with just the game running. And no, I don't have a lot of crap running. So yeah, you could probably run it with 512MB if you wanted to wait through the horrendous pauses while it thrashes the disk.

Odd, there are plenty of sources indicating it doesn't need even close to that, people removing the limit are getting by just fine. Could be the fact the engine is a pile of inconsistant plap. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=709124 Pretty sure that's JonasBeckman from this forum.

Battlefield has always been more PC friendly and CoD has been more console friendly. It's a good thing.:)
