of course, right after i buy one lol... Love this thing its blazing fast. Not sure why when I shutdown though that the force shutdown/force end program screen always appears even though there is nothing in it to be forced to shut down.

Why not register and see if you receive a key ? :

Damn, too bad not for the Vertex, hehe.
But damn, everyone should buy one, it's the best thing since sliced bread, seeing windows install 100 updates and run through the entire process in a few minutes ... Bam!

Now I'm more annoyed.
I bought a Vector with free Acronis True Image that doesnt even support Windows 8 (found out yesterday).
I already had True image and thought I was getting a Win8 version.
Talk about shafting their customers who paid a LOT for a 256GB SSD.
Now they ship with Farcry 3 which I also have, but I could at least give this to someone as a present!
Grrr.
Just tried claiming for the game anyway here
http://www.ocztechnology.com/vector_farcry3/
it fails every time saying "Error: The CAPTCHA wasn't entered correctly."
Tried about 10 times now, it wont accept it.
Double grrr

Bought the 512GB Vector but screw UBI DRM, even free won't make me claim it.

I wouldn't let you have it as you'd only put malware on your PC 😉

Btw i verified that this is not just for new purchases, everybody who bought one in the past can request a key as well.

Thanks Hilbert.
I sent an email to OCz 2hrs ago, waiting to see what they say about the captcha issue.

Leave him alone, I hold a similar view about DRM.
Some of it is so damn annoying that I dont blame him for taking a stand.
It has stopped me buying some games.
My problem with the captcha getting Farcry 3 was down to blocking cookies [embarrassed].
OCz responded in a decent time and I now have the activation code 🙂

But to call it malware? cmon....

Did anyone spot the mistake? It's EA that uses Origin malware, not Ubisofts Uplay rootkit 😀
Ghosty
I quite like Uplay...

I actually don't blame him for his stance on types of DRM. It's really the only way we can speak - with our wallets. There are many games I want that I don't get simply because they aren't on the form of DRM that I deem acceptable - Steam. For some people it's serious enough to have some sort of response other than falling in line with what the devs want and for others it isn't.
