Yes, but what does that have to do with this piece of news?

it's like Valve and Steam, EA and Origin, M$ and XBox live, etc etc GOG is without DRM and keep old thing compatible with new hardware, have a giant Linux library too and all of this is more important.

@rl66 Roger that! The only thing that keeps me from giving them ALL the praise in the world is the lack of GOG client for Linux... But for me GOG is one of the few gems in the gaming industry, their client for Windows and their way of giving awesome content is unmatched. And having native Linux version of games it's just insanely good. Additional content, like soundtracks, artworks, behind the scenes and all make GOG an awesome project and platform. And as I said, the same level of passion in giving the best for one's money from CD Projekt. Hats down for the most down to Earth gaming company in whole gaming industry!

Bought, but on a sad note my boxed 4 cd edition is now worth nothing, thanks GOG, there goes my retirement fund. lol

Yeah I installed the new SCUMMVM release last month or so...Blade Runner finally works hehe. Steam and GoG have been leaning heavily on DosBox and SCUMMVM for old titles for the last decade or so. I also have ResidualVM to run Myst III: Exile and the original version of Grim Fandango.

On other hand compiling linux isn't easy as there is many specific from one distro to another. Also a client is nice on Windows but i don't know if linux's user are ready for it (and it depend on if it is native linux or if it is windows based/converted and if this point, wich tool to use to make it work). Easy for Linux user, like the manual of a nuclear plan for regular Windows user.

Very nice, thank you. Had this back in the days on CD, with that Huge black box... Will look into it.

@rl66 no Linux compilation required. It's conveniently a .sh file with all instructions needed, craftily coded to match and solve each distro particularities. Just make the script executable, launch it and there you have it.

This is a fantastic game. I'll snag this beauty up in due course.:) I have waited over the years for a remastered version, to no avail as of yet.:(

Awesome to hear. I don't really remember much of the game, but I know I really enjoyed it when it first came out.

I agree with you but those 3 variables make it wonky sometime and you have to go to the basic sometime.
