I'm not ashamed to say that I bought CoD:Blops3 and I'm really enjoying the campaign. Always liked Treyarch's stories. I'm still terrible at multiplayer though.

Every game developer dreams about golden hen like COD game series. Last COD I've loved was COD4, after 4th they were nothing more than money grabbers as far as I'm concerned.

Engine is always the same............ fast paced crap, cod4 had the last normal good Engine, where the pace of the game was more or less "normal".
Not the hyper hype speed we have today.
Just compare cod1/uo to all the latest cods.

World is full of people who would buy even an polished turd if it was properly advertised(apple policy 🙂 )..what a pity. And activision actually feel they are great...on the other hand I was reading that supposedly 99% sales on first day in UK were for consoles..now it didn't say whether steam sales were accounted for but lets hope that at least pc gamers are getting fed up.

Haven't played a COD game since Black Ops 1, even back then the game was overhyped. It's really weird with franchises like this, where I absolutely loved the first games and pretty much "hate" the recent ones.
But yeah, I can understand the profit, as said above, kids and consoles + explosions = success. However, one needs to keep in mind the HUGE marketing costs, I can bet they were more than the actual game development.

Loved CoD2, played Cod3 and kinda liked MW2.
Some ppl I know still buy every CoD. When I go visit them and see them play, I just don't get why it's still so popular.. I just don't.
