Nice to see external storage devices coming of age! Still holding out for that thunderbolt capable drive that can offer external reads and writes of 3GB/s reads and writes. External raids 9ff software do not seem to offer the proper speeds I require. Maybe the newest Phison controller can offer that kind of throughput off of s single drive externally. Still kind of lost on the facts honestly and have only been perusing the net for a couple of weeks since getting my thunderbolt AIC for the Rippah! Here's to hoping for that 40gb/s theoretical throughput of 5GB/s!!
