"Both monitors are 60hz." YAWN. Are these monitor-making companies even trying anymore? Last time i used a 60hz monitor was 2012.

They are trying, trying to milk every dollar out of their customers they can.

Anything above 60Hz is beneficial no matter what you do.

Do you feel the benefit of 144hz from reading and typing? I have mine panel OCed to 96hz and I know for sure I am not going back to 60hz for action games. But I don't mind having 60hz monitor for office work or playing games where reaction time is not necessary. Would you pay $300 more per monitor for your office so your employees would experience 144hz? You want your employees to be productive, that why resolution goes up, to do more things at the same time. There no programs in office that would require rapid reaction... (unless you sit whole day, moving cursor and windows enjoying smoothness).

Yeah, you can see those words appearing in MS Word 2 miliseconds earlier...

For office people: 60Hz enough. For gaming: at least 120Hz, better more, and no coming back when used to it. I like to have "old school arcadefeel" with smoothness, and higher Hz + fps are best what has happened lately. And we have enough 60Hz monitors, need 120+Hz ultrawide and high res.

Everything you do is much more responsive and doesn't lag. Once you've gotten used to 120/144Hz there's no way of using a 60 Hz panel without wanting to puke after 10 minutes. Is the a professional benefit? No, but you are going to enjoy working at your computer for longer periods of time when you are using something that is responsive.
