where's your 27" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync BenQ???

Always skeptical of 4k displays less than 30" size. The ppi is high enough on 27" 1440p which makes it a more practical res. 4k must be a lot of trouble making text readable (DPI @ 150% or more) and putting up with apps that dont scale properly. Definitely enthusiastic about 4k though, but only at 30" and above.

I contacted them a month ago and they said it will be out by the end of last October. still no word but they're working on it for sure. I hope they price it reasonably to compete with the Asus Swift. it would also be nice if they use the new sleeker design of the XL2430.

Thanks for the info. It's simply a matter of waiting for it to be released and shortly after reviewed. And it would be nice for a slim if not almost invisible bezel...

It is 4K as everyone knows it. But not 4096x2160 surely.

actually im the opposite, spreading those precious pixels seems like a waste, 27" is the biggest thing I would call a "computer monitor" and pixel dense displays look gorgeous, I wish I had those 350-450dpi in my monitor instead of my phone's screen, im sure we will have even better displays by the time 4k becomes the hdtv standard, like 5-6k or even 8k just like we have had 1440p and 1600p, oh just imagine a 24-27" 8k 120hz monitor @_@

Ah, bummer, what a shame. Any word on pricing for the 32'' 144Hz gaming monitor coming in late January?
