Hmmm, a 24" IPS 2560x1440 monitor would be a nice upgrade from my 24"1920x1200 HP LP2475w IPS monitor as I have limited space due to shelves. Besides, which a 27" monitor would be too large for the distance I sit from the screen when using my PC. One for me to keep my eye on I think. Hopefully, other manufacturers will follow suit because higher resolution displays at smaller sizes obviously will have higher pixel densities then lower resolution ones at the same size. I've been looking for a higher resolution screen not one that was larger.

I am totally with you on this one. I have a "shelf issue" with my desk as well. I am not really after bigger screen space anyway as much as I am after higher resolution.
