Awesome review Hilbert! And thank you for including acoustics tests and a big thank you for preparing equipment for thermal tests as well. Looks like the perfect chassi...except for the ridiculous price. It would have been a bit easier to swallow if it included three fans and not two. PS. The features description on page 2 mentions 1 x Silent Wings but on page 3 you mention Pure Wings.

Really nice looking case. This case is going on my wish list for this Chistmas, if a price drops a little bit by the New Year or few week after and I'm sure it will. Although for those who don't want to wait and really need something special looking those €190 shouldn't be a problem, this case has that unique "extra" look for sure. Thanks for review Hilbert. Nice pics, except 2nd pic on page no.4 with white wall reflected on tempered glass, it really looks weird and it's not the first time in case reviews, but when I think better maybe you should keep it so that everyone who are interested knows how many reflections from suroundings and objects near the case they should expect from tempered glass on some particular case. Everything else about the review is just perfect with lots of details. As Netherwind jus said acoustics tests are really nice addon for case reviews, keep those tests for for future reviews. Thank you!

My new build I used a Fractal Design Define Mini C Black Silent Compact MATX Mini Tower Computer Case with window. I've noticed lately that Guru 3D hasn't been reviewing MATX or ITX cases like they have in the past.

Hi HH Thanks for review of this case If its possible in future if you can test as well with installed system and what temperatures you will get during the test or gaming etc, this would be very helpful for many of us I know friend have Dark Base 900 in which he using 2*360mm radiators and airflow in this case is just poor, as there are no openings for fans intake etc and he ended up modifying the front and top panels There are just 2*140mm Silent Wings 3 wish they added at least at front 2*140mm fans Hope this helps Thanks, Jura

nice case I really like the fact psu area is completely separated from the rest of system. still i not fan of clear/window side panels though

Nice case, I like the fact it comes with fan controllers too. This is the bit I'm happy to read, I think this will be interesting to read in future articles: "Some equipment and an airflow meter are ordered to force dedicated heat levels into the chassis to see how well heat dumped into a chassis is dealt with. That, however, is future stuff for our review though."

Why is it that all all these new cool computer cases, don't have DVD \ Blue Ray players in them any more........ Seriously We still have programs on CD\ DVD..... to install πŸ™„ πŸ™„

I agree. 5.25 bays are useful for many different things. I think it is absolutely retarded that all these cases lack a 5.25 bay. Having a fan controller in the bay with quick and easy manual fan control is very nice, not to mention possibly upgrading to a 4k player in the future when people have 4k hdr monitors.

Well, blame Steam, Uplay, Origin and Microsoft πŸ™‚ Boxed sales of games and even OS is declining every year and it's certainly not due to cases lacking 5.25 bays. Actually the case makers are just following the trend. I personally gave up DVD players 5 years ago and haven't looked back since. All I need is downloadable on the Internet and when I reinstall my OS I do it through USB or simply using the Win10 tool. And if I would ever need a DVD player, I can just buy a USB 3.0 one, easy peasy.

It's not just that they're talking about, you can put alot more in there then just a dvd player. Like LCD screen or fan controller and such.

Fan controller is already included in this particular case (assuming we're talking about it and not in general) but LCD screen, that one is new (didn't know you could).

come back when these "fan controllers" can help manage 12+ high powered fans. The 5.25 bay NZXT fan controller I am using is a beast. 5 channels, 30 watts per channel, so you can hook up multiple fans per channel. It has physical sliders allowing me to alter speed, instead of depending on thermo sensors to adjust my fans up and down. Sometimes I want my fans faster, sometimes slower. MY controller gives me instant access to that.

Fine, I don't have too much experience in that area so I'll rest my case. But there are plenty of cases still rocking 5.25" bays so I guess it's not that bad? Plus I don't imagine the majority of PC users having huge fan setups with controllers?
