This time, at release, yes. Still not sure if they will make any DLCs that require you to pay again (at least, until they give them away for free a year later). I guess they have learned that more DLCs "split up" the player base, although imho the best maps always have been on release (or in the Back To Karkhand pack 😀)

Half of server are pretty girl soldier models running with pink KAR98 skin, shooting down custom sprayed tanks. Yeah... EA has to come up with solid plan, or it gonna mess up immersion on 1st week.

Yeah, EA are stating what it won't have, but not what will be replacing them, my guess it will be a £60 game filled to the brim with micro transactions and other new buzz word names for dlc and loot boxes/crates/pouches/soul harvesters, new charactor slots for each class, £10 each, gold tank ammo, £10 for 50 rounds, 10 instant heal team member packs, £10........lol

Well they did say, DICE that is, it's not an EA game, that there won't be any pay to win crap. And with the total destruction of Battlefront 2 hardly forgotten, I doubt there's going to be any.

What special edition? If there are no DLCs, you do not need higher edition which served as "paying in advance for future content and having it available bit earlier".

Remember all the Battlefront II pre-launch advertising about how much better it was going to be and the new modes, features, etc? Pepperidge Farm remembers. ANYTHING EA touches, I will not spend a dime on. I've tried to get past the "I hate EA just because" but I've been burnt way too many times. I don't believe a single word or in any franchise they own anymore.
