Bingo. And, Lama. I'll remind you again. Nazi's were bad guys. If you defend them in any manner, so are you. Not much on Earth is simpler. No one is saying every German was a bad human being. And no one blames modern Germans, and I'm fairly sure they will not start WWIII, unless taken over by Islam and then all bets are off the table.

You just called damn high number of historians "Nazi". Good Job! Do you know that people with actual knowledge who saw/played SP campaign in BF V had no other choice? Because this game is revision of historical events. And in very specific way. While they censor hakenkreuz left and right, they have no problem to create atrocities which did not or could not actually happen. Then they turn French soldiers into biggest racists, which is quite absurd as Black Tirailleurs Senegalais were considered as almost equal with native French soldiers. (So when in-game French soldiers take their rifles and hand them shovels...) Another absurdity is that those highly trained and experienced black soldiers would cause mutiny upon some green-behind-ears guy wants to ignore orders and attack. Even US Black soldiers faced 10 times as much racial prejudice. But game had to pick least racist nation and make them to bad racist offenders. There is nice thing which I can say about BF V: "Equipment is highly inaccurate in terms of use not-yet-existing gear, never existing (fictional) gear (weapons/uniforms), ignoring armor thickness, technological limitations of vehicles, ..." Those are the nice things. Everything else is total-utter-BS with political "subtext" which is so loud that anyone with basic historical knowledge just wants to explode.

Just to add this, I think they are not using the Hakenkreuz to avoid the forbidding of sales in Germany and Austria, where there are still laws against it. Mind you, Germany has declared that like in movies, pictures, and books, the video game can now be seen as a form of art, thus a company could apply for a rating even though it contains Hakenkreuze, although no one was bold enough, and EA is not out to make controversial (on first glance) games.

Okay, so what are they supposed to do so you're not offended? Pretty much every story on pretty much every AAA devolves into petty squabbles about their politics. None of you are ever satisfied with just playing the Fin games and not puttiing your baggage on it. That's what I think about all this constant whinging. 😱 Edit BTW, update is live. Now that my net is some 30 times faster....the ~10GB will be done in a few minutes...

Maybe if game did not proclaim itself as based on historical material and depicting untold stories? I hope you understand that based on historical materials does not translate well into: "raping history" And untold stories does not translate well into: "complete fiction" Have you for example played original Red Faction? And sequels? They may be considered as sort of propaganda, but it is actually fictional, fantasy, role playing. (Therefore OK, as any other fictional game which does not claim any sort of historical accuracy.) So, what those people you call whiners want? It is simple. Intelligent people want game studios to stop rewriting history. Because those games are played by children. And they happen to learn from anything they see/hear/do. Here people care about truth. You do not have to. It is your choice to be ignorant. But remember how triggered you was just because my little self brought theory that there may have been other crew on Moon than you believed in? How much you blown it out of proportion and twisted my statement into : "No Moon Landing"? Where is that historical zealotry now? Is it asleep, or you'll only defend particular historical events you believe in?
