I was worried that the lack of memory on my 670's was going to be a problem, but playing it yesterday on 1920x1080 maxxed out, the cards handle it like a dream. Means i can wait for next gen GPU's before i need to upgrade
I think everyone has been worried about kepler's bus width and lack of memory but less your modding or playing at 4k it really isn't an issue.
:( I big time regret my 670 purchase over a 7950 now.
Nvidia will sort it out i wouldn't worry too much. The performance difference shouldn't be too drastic.

Hilbert would You consider making MP CPU benchmarks ? It would really show some interesting things for sure , and draw some attention the the site too ,since not many pages are doing it.

so then it's not so much a hardware killer, kinda disappointed by that, perhaps the dlc maps will deliver more uber than vanilla.

Isnt that good thats its optimized and its not hardware killer ? I'm glad it isnt , i play ultra @ 60FPS.

personally, optimized is fine, average graphics so it runs on mid range is not.

I don't know why people is so hyped about this game. The single player is utter crap. The last mission was a joke. It was like a training mission, where you prepare for the real action. The hard difficulty isn't hard at all. Complete disaster, that is the game. I don't care about the multiplayer and honestly after the sp, i wouldn't even think of double click the BF4 icon on my desktop again. Uninstall, delete, empty the recycle bin. P.S. I'm so glad i didn't pay a cent for this game. Come to think about it, i actually was thinking of buying the game....

Very happy with the performance,90-140 ultra,the bad thing is that some servers have some stutter/lag,but in general I`m very happy with the game. @makaveli316...dude ppl buy a Battlefield game for MP,SP is there like a bonus,but trust me,no BF fan will play SP,they don`t care about it.

I know, but i'm not a fan of any game franchise. This is childish. It's either good or bad, no matter if it's cod, bf or whatever.

Very hard to tell from that particular screenshot. I saw this better animated GIF example on the toms site a while ago that shows it much better. A lot of the ultra improvements are in distant objects. http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/310/67lm.gif

Nice, must have taken quite some time to bench using all those cards! By the way, why not use png compression for those image samples? bf4-ultra.bmp though OptiPNG would result in image that's 8,18 MB PNG vs. 23,7 MB BMP.
He's dead right Hilbert. BMP is usually uncompressed 24-bit format. PNG is (specially designed for web) compressed 24-bit format which would be identical. I always use it for crops from JPGs that I don't want any further generational losses with.

Dude, you steal the game from a torrent site, then complain about the single player part of the game that maybe 2 out of 10 people will even try, then brag about how you didn't even pay for it? LOL...How about you just be grateful that you even got to try it in the first place?
