Good, there is enough broken garbage in early access section of Steam, don't need broken games in AAA section as well.

Surly they must have known what a mess it was before release? Suspending a game shows what a state it's in. I really hope they can fix it, as the game itself is actually rather good.:)

terrible port no excuses , why we get these bad ports , is it to please the ps4 and xbox one make them look better than a pc, is it the pc game pirates pissing off developers by stealing games and they think well they steal are games we dont care, who knows what reason is but hopefully the problems behind theses bad ports get sorted out so everyone gets good games to enjoy on every platform

This is the first bit of good news since the game's launch on PC.
I'm still downloading on my 2Mb/s line 🙁
At least AC Unity had a day one patch to fix most problems.
At least Watch Dogs runs smoothly now.
There isn't even multiplayer to complain about issues like with Battlefield 4.
The only game I can think this is doing better than is Ashes Cricket :P

Well, this interview was actually a good indication for the incoming mess 🤓
It begins 42 seconds in.

Thanks...
But I'm actually VERY happy they pulled it. Just like I posted in another thread:
I think this sets a VERY good precedent for PC games in the future. No doubt about it, I'm sure that Ubisoft and any other publisher with a, less than stellar PC release history is taking note of what is happening here. A studio like Warner Brothers, reacting to the gaming community is a first, like, literally. And I'm sure they would not ever have done this move if not for the uproar and supposedly, massive refunds thanks to recent steam changes. This is the ****ing company that said they would rather focus on creating DLC for their games, rather than patching them - Pulling a game from a storefront, to give it full focus and release it in a proper state. And I really hope they pull it off, because, oh boy. Was it a massive disappointment, being hyped and looking forward to this release with high hopes and excitement.... And its god awful, couldn't do anything properly within the game because I couldn't look away from all the technical issues I had, played 1H and 33Mins, refunded it.
And now suddenly, I might have a chance in the future to experience a decent conclusion to the batman game. Just hope they let more than 12 people work on it this time <.<
Oh, and Hilbert, might want to correct a few things 😉

"...it's meant to be played..."
Think they are blaming anyone?

This never going to stop thanks to impatient gamers.

Some "manager" somewhere thought it would be easy to save a bucks and farm out the PC version to an incapable company.
$20 says they wouldn't have halted the PC sales if Steam didn't start offering refunds. They would have just released a PR statement telling people to wait for a patch.

There's still a difference between stupid bugs and glitches you're not willing to patch and an actual mess, and WB found out the hard way. This is also hurting their relationship with the hardware companies.

Unfortunate wouldn't be the word i'd use in this case, deliberate fits better.

Seems like they started development for PC the night before the launch date;
Kinda like high school students who wait the night before an exam to start studying.

Sadly i think thoses 4 guys have got a letter this week and will get some loong summer holliday..
For be honest, i think the things are a bit more complicated that just the question of this studio.... If you hire a 4 team guys for developp a game / a port, and dont give the time for it, in addition they have need include all the gamework pc features, you could allready know they will be some problems.
Lets not goes only after thoses guys, they could be really talented, but they cant do miracle too.

Just an addition to the news item:
It appears it isn't all Gameworks effects that revert it to DirectX 10. Just the two GPU PhysX effects (Interactive Smoke/Fog and Interactive Paper Debris). With just the Enhanced Rain and Enhanced Light Shafts, it remains in DirectX 11 mode. At least for me.
