First instinct: I want!
Second thought: Who can stream 4K HDR fluently these days? Or who uploads such material to youtube? Not sure this has many practical applications (yet).

^^Well only recently on my TV anyway there was a update that allowed HDR to now work on the Youtube app, and there are more that i thought there would be.

Blah that price though, $100 more than the last capture card I got. But this is precisely what I've been looking for. I can't even use windows built in game recorder in hdr because it washes all the colors out when playing the file back. I wish it said which hdr types it supports though. Does it support dolby vision, hlg, hdr10+ etc

Good luck getting viewers streaming 4K @ 24000 Bitrate ^^

^^Does HDR even work right on W10, i know when i switch on HDR on W10 my TV pops up and states HDR is active, and all the HDR settings are active, but yt videos just don't look right, same with the desktop, i have no idea if that means i have to go into settings and calibrate it or something, and at present i am simply to lazy to do that, so i just leave it off. lol
And yes, there are plenty of 4k HDR videos....DF pump them out quite regular now as do a few other channels....of course unless you are watching on a 4k HDR device you won't see anything, and at present the only device that i have that works is the YT app TV app on my 55in 4k HDR TV, but HDR YT on the XBX and Pro do not work at all, and on my PC as i said, hdr looks all grey and horrible when it is turned on.

Could somebody enlighten me, what is a purpose of this device? According to news, it is not capable of 4K hardware encoding, so what is the difference between this and a software recording with, lets say, afterburner?
