hmmmm,$50 higher msrp that 3060. there's 30-40% between 3060 and 6700xt though,so it may well end up 15-25% faster than 3060.

It'd be a good buy if it's as high as 15-25% faster than the 3060.

I don't think they'll be able to do more than 8g on 128-bit tho w.3060 you're getting entry level rt too.It may be console-level rt w. dlss but still

Isnt the 3060 close or same level of performance as 5700xt and 2070S? Im expecting 6600xt to land just there.

closer to 5700xt,2070S is at least 10% faster. it'd be a tough sell for 399 if it's like 5700xt and 8G.

Overpriced. just like bascially every other recent gpu, even without scalpers. these prices are a joke! where is the consumer best value 200 bucks card? these announcement for third/fourth performance tiers cost as much as the flagships of past generations!

At that price is a ripoff, and it's painfully obvious that AMD is trying to take advantage of consumers.

MSRP has been nothing but a bad joke during this GPU generation. In other words, it means nothing. The cheapest 3060 I see here now is a single fan thing from Asus, 609 euros. Mostly they go for 650-750 euros. I'm aware in more civilised places the prices have already dropped, but I bet still not to the mythological MSRP levels.

Look at the current prices of video cards. How would it be any better to announce a hypocritically low MSRP when not single person on Earth would ever be able to buy the card at anywhere near that price? Only a lesser person would think AMD would be somehow great because of that. If you want to blame someone, blame the thrice cursed crypto miners.

400 USD or about 500€ for a low - mid range card. Great times for gaming we live in.

200$ card EVERYONE needs.

AMD, my offer is 200€. Take it or leave it. Come back when you need more sales, I'll offer 189€ then.

Both Nvidia and AMD are fkn us all at this price range. Go to Cloud gaming (GFnow, Stadia, Amazon Luna(twitchtv) and more) or get a console.... Good luck getting this card below $600... PC MASTERRACE!!! Get ready for cloud gaming, this is just the start.!

I have to agree with this. Current GPUs are simply too expensive, even at MSRP.

Oh joy..... About the same as 5700xt performance for the same price 2 years later ....darn both nvidia and amd are milking us hardcore.

Needs to be $249. Considering I bought a 5700xt for $389 brand new, and was not a reference card. IGAF about the market due to miners and asshole scalpers.

Well the 3080 and the 3070 at msrp were ok. So the 6800 msrp price.

Remember the time when Titan was released at 1000$ and we thought price is outrageous even for a super high end? Ah, those ware the times.

3070 -no 3060ti - absolutely 6800 and 6800xt are both worth it imo,but the problem was the msrp was unrealistic from the beginning. The msrp on partner cards was 100-150 usd higher from the start, and as hardwareunboxed explained, that was due to amd setting it unrealistically low compared to production costs.tbh I feel for companies like sapphire - amd has been giving precious little to earn on recently, and when they have, the margin at msrp would have been extremely low.
