Using those cans myself at home, had the chance to pick up the (previous?) limited edition of brown/blue or whatever the color was supposed to be. Highly recommended as an entry level audiophile product. The earpads eventually started dying on me, though. Cracking left and right. Replaced them by a pair of SRH840 pads and have been golden since. Add a modmic and you'll be good for a long time to come.

Man, I had JUST bought a pair of these, and totally would have gone for the red/gold or brown/blue mentioned above. I found they had a tad much bass which sounded like it was overwhelming the vocals and foley sounds. Got some "Brainwavz" angled hybrid pads for them. Much more comfortable and the sound seems much more clear and balanced. But would have been just a tad better in red and gold.
