They know that every Card sold from person to person is card not sold by them.

I assume you buy the card then send the old one back and then get the rebate sent to you. Does the card sent in have to be in full working order, undamaged or none modified'/ i've got an MSI 970GTX which is fine but one of the fan blades fell off, so technically it is damaged.

Also, is there a table for the good, better, best purchase cards? What would be a 2060 super be in for instance? Ah I found it https://asustradeup.com/gb/en/pages/graphicscard/qualifying 2060 is only in the good category, also no Super products included, which are rumoured to be cheaper and faster than equivalent.

Wouldn’t you get way more for your second hand card selling it directly to someone else on advert site? I mean I think my Gigabyte Xtreme 1070 is worth more than £270. Isn’t that what this company is going to do with all the second hand cards they get in anyway?

Absolutely. You're FAR better off selling privately and then buying your choice of brand.

Yes pretty much this as @-Tj- also noted in the thread regarding EVGA's North America program. One thing I still don't get is, what do they do with all those used cards...

What i don't get is how a 1070 is worth the same as a 1080ti? like what? If you can try and sell it yourself, ebay, facebook market place whatever you use, often can get way more than this.

I assume its more for a reuse of materials as well and forcing you in a way to buy their cards. The chips wont get reused (although maybe they sell used cards) but the use of materials might still have worth for them even if its just a little bit back

Yeah, same thinking here, only that I honestly doubt the rentability of reusing the materials. If one knows what it costs to take apart such a card, or how bad for the environment it is how they usually do it (China....) I seriously would wish they'd sell the used cards at a cheaper price for budget gamers. Build OEM PCs for cheap with it. Ship them to schools so they can build new IT infrastructure in less privileged countries. Lots of things to do, but I just am not sure or never heard of what they do with such cards.

Sadly its a lot of wishful thinking, but it would be nice if they least sold them used themselves to another customer or business

You can get more for the GPUs selling them on ebay, than trading-in to Asus 🙄 At least for the Asus models of Nvidia GTX 10xx series from what I've checked.

Haven't you seen the prices? 2060 Super will be $50 more expensive than the 2060, while the 2070 and 2080 Super will cost the same as the 2070 and 2080.

You can sell the more expensive ones for more I think, but f.e. for a cheaper 1070, 270 pounds is great imo. Or even 105 pounds for a GTX 960 (for a "Better" purchase). The latter is sold here for nearly the half of the cash ASUS gives for it (around 55-60 pounds).

I'm still fine with 980ti, they won't persuade me into this just yet. Maybe with Ampere next year. Cyberpunk is nowhere to be seen either so no rush into these rushed overpriced cards.

If this is anything like the cashback program they had on Z270 boards then i would avoid it because i´m still waiting for my 40€...
