$599 card yet i see for $689 or more most places, if amazon actual has at 599 in coming month i might buy it seeing have like 100$ in gift credits there

I checked the Pricewatch page for the TUF card on Tweakers.net, but this is the lowest price in any shop listed there (only four until now)
I also looked at the german website for Alternate (alternate.de), there the TUF card is listed for 776 euros (the Germans have a lower VAT at 19%) but is not available. They also list the STRIX edition for 875 euros (also not available), so that should give you some guidance to how much ASUS wants to put on top of MSRP for those cards:

It's ASUS tax. ASUS think they're Apple, and they seem to be right. They wouldn't be releasing this if there wasn't a market for it.
