Hmm that 24gb of memory spec is odd. I'm guessing 3 memory slots, or maybe it comes with 8gb soldered to the board?

8GB x 2 + 4GB x 2 or 16GB + 8GB. It's not surprising that companies are trying to penny pinch on RAM with the price fixing BS going on thanks to the triumvirate of Samdung/Micron/Hynix. I hope they choke on their profits.
