If they had better update support I would for sure own one of these. But it's just so so so abysmally bad that I can't bring myself to do it.

I have been using the ROG Phone 6 for almost half a year now and I honestly like it a lot more than I thought I would. I got it for 40% off, since the package was opened and used for a little while, so I had even lower expectations, but to my surprise it had 0 scratches or usage marks, so it was quite a deal with full warranty etc. The phone itself, if used for gaming, which is what I use it for (mainly Diablo Immortal), is awesome. Big screen, thicc boi, great battery life especially for the performance it can deliver. I mean 165Hz OLED it has is way above my PC monitor's specs lol. What makes it stand apart are the "airtrigger" buttons when you hold the phone like a controller it simulates the LB RB from a 360 controller and are fully customizable for each game. Also for each game you can customize stuff like refresh rate (for example DI is max 60Hz, so the screen won't run at 165 and waste battery life), performance, cooling etc. and it also comes with a MSI AB like OSD which comes in very handy to see temps, cpu, gpu usage, remaining life etc. All in all, great gaming phone, but due to the big size and battery it's also good for work, definitely great for youtube and other media. Even though I won't buy the 7, since I'm not into buying phones every generation, it will likely be good too, provided you can get it on a sale. I might get maybe a ROG 8 or 9, who knows, I had a Oneplus 5 before, so I am used to "niche" phones nobody's hear about, I might buy one.
