I'll bet that this one is expensive. I'd certainly love one.

The pricing of this monitor should sit around the $1,100 marker.

Whoops my bad, it's looking to become the €2,699 marker.

Yep, that's why they only mention "4ms response time (gray-to-gray)" 😎

Holy mother... LG 38GL950G looks like a better option.

Now available.. Where?
Literally not seeing this monitor available on any etailer websites. And considering the LG C9 55" 120hz OLED is £2499, Asus need to stop smoking the crack pipe and maybe people will begin to buy their products again.

ridiculous price but..... at least this one comes with a stand...

@RavenMaster and enjoy the image retention within a year. not even talking about that its a tv and will introduce a lot of input lag from processing. or ppl wouldnt need gaming profiles on lcds to drop lag by ~100ms. or the fact that its a 55, and even that i like a big screen, even a 50 i tried was too big to use as reg desktop screen.

So sad these prices. Maybe in like four years when these are as cheap as my Alienware 120hz 1440 widescreen display. $700 brand new....... T $2,500 display is seriously a slap in the face

That price is stupid. Enough said.

VA is not suitable for fast paced gaming at all. Regardless of refresh rate. Tried tons of VA "gaming monitors" including CFG70 and it is really not what I would consider a fast monitor. Played around with it for a week and no matter what settings I used I could see blur (even with BFI, it was just slightly less). VA is awesome for TV and Console, for PC I'm avoiding it from now on. It's simply too slow. Up to 50 ms depending on colors shown (black to white or white to black are insanely slow for example).
This is my opinion too after I read up about it on Blurbusters website.

I wonder if they will make a 2k 30 inch version? I'm a few years out of wanting to jump to 4k.

I think I'll wait until LED's become small enough and cost effective enough for monitor usage, because this is just....stupid amounts of money for a gaming monitor. What I mean by that is this: if anyone buys this monitor for gaming - they are categorically stupid. My "basic" 10-bit IPS monitor with <5ms input lag is just fine thankyouverymuch.

It's exceptionally stupid considering Acer's Predator CG437KP has a proper 4K, 43" screen that runs @ 144hz with 1000 nits and is going to be around 1400 bucks.

But that monitor has no local dimming, is slower and pulls the panel from high volume TVs (it's a normal aspect ratio). I think price on the 35VQ is dumb but i don't consider the 437KP an alternative at all. I'm also starting to think buying a monitor before miniLED shows up is a mistake to begin with.
