I had to sign up for this site just to comment on all the replies that say this monitor is overpriced and a ripoff. In 2010 I paid $1200 for a 2560x1600 monitor @ 60Hz. The LG W3000H.
This monitor has 120Hz (which is great for gaming obviously). AND it has G-Sync. For only $700!!!! I paid nearly double that for a 60Hz monitor without G-Sync. I constantly wished that my monitor could do 120Hz. Add to the fact that there has been no monitors with 120Hz at that resolution. So the option to upgrade was not available. After going from 1200p to 1600p. Which is about 2 million more pixels. I couldn't ever go back especially for gaming.
Now you guys can get this for only $700 with G-Sync. Even if it didn't have G-Sync it would still be more than worth it for the money. Most people spend on this site at least that much on their hardware if not more. You're screen is just as important as your entire computer.
In fact some of the people saying this is a ripoff spent at least $600 on their graphics cards alone. Anyways just had to get that off my chest.

It's not so expensive and not very cheap. I would say it could be priced a bit lower.
Its WQHD monitor which does 144hz and has also Gsync.
Yes its a TN but its a custom made native 8bit TN without dithering unlike most TNs which are 6bit with dithering. The price is high but not too high. What makes it a killer for me is that has WQHD with 144hz and Gsync all together.
IPS has great colour reproduction but they are very slow panels. Most of them are 7-8ms G2G while this is 1ms.
It's a fast big beautiful monitor packed with one of them most amazing techs out there. Gsync.
I would be extremely happy if it was priced around 500-550 US dollars but at least they packed tons of cool features there.
What I don't like is the absence of HDMI ports. It has only 1 DP port.
PC monitors are still a bit expensive and most of them are stuck in 1080p while even tablets and smartphones advanced into the 2K.
PC monitors supposed to jump straight to 4K but are still a bit far from 4K mainstream sub 500$ monitors and 4K is not supported by all games and we still need monstrous GPU power to run at 60fps. So 4K needs few years more to become the next standard. Till then this monitor can happily keep waiting.

This will be my next screen, it will have dvi input? Just looked around and only dp because gsync does not work over dvi, still I will buy should be a good step up from my Asus VG278HE 144hz

Still do not see this monitor available, I'd love to get my hands on one of these.
